2012 Zebra Tournament Info

May 26-27, 2012  Memorial Day Weekend

Entry Fee:

$400.00   Make checks payable to: San Jose Zebra Youth Foundation

Divisions:

Girls: 7th grade through 12th grade
Boys: 7th grade through 12th grade

Format:

Each grade level division will be limited to eight (8) teams.  Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.  Two games are to be played on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Deadlines:

Entry Deadline Feb. 5, 2012 - Please submit your entry fee and completed Entry/Roster Form to your Division Tournament Coordinator as soon as possible, but no later than this date.

Roster Change Deadline Mar. 30, 2012– Late roster changes are discouraged and must be approved by the Tournament Committee.

Notification:

Please note that more invitations have been sent than spaces available in each division.  Notification of acceptance will be sent by
March 11, 2012.

Qualification:

All players on the roster must be of Asian or Pacific Islander descent.  Team Rosters should be limited to 10 players, as only 10 awards will be distributed.

Division Coordinators

The San Jose Zebras invite you to stay at the Official Zebra Tournament Hotel. We have once again selected the Santa Clara Marriott in order to provide our visiting teams with a safe and enjoyable place to stay. The hotel is centrally located, with easy freeway access to all the gyms. The on-site restaurant and room service can ease the stress of getting to the games on time. The Player and Adult Social will be held at the Hotel, so there is no need for late night driving. Come stay and have fun discussing the day’s events with other parents in this relaxed atmosphere.

Please support the Zebras by making your reservations though our Zebra Hotel Coordinators. We ask that you do not contact the hotel directly as our contract requires that all reservations will be handled in this manner. We would like to respectfully request that your team make every effort to stay at the Marriot, as it greatly supports our ability to host all the events that make for an enjoyable tournament weekend.

To Make Reservations: Please fill out one rooming list per team. Use one credit card per team (all major credit cards accepted), including type, expiration date, 3 or 4 digit code and which rate listed below. Individual hotel confirmation numbers will be returned to the team representative. Individuals will pay all room, tax and incidental charges.

Cancelation Date: By May 23, 2012, 12:00 Noon. 72-hour cancellation notice or you will be charged for one night.
